Juan Morán

Juan Morán has spent his career building systems for problems that conventional software could not adequately represent.
In 1991, he founded Meta4, one of Europe’s pioneering enterprise software companies. Meta4 transformed human-resources management into an integrated software category, expanded internationally and was eventually listed on Nasdaq Europe at a valuation exceeding €300 million. He later founded and developed companies including Newknow and Appgree, built around proprietary algorithms and internationally patented technologies.
That trajectory gave him an unusual perspective on the present artificial-intelligence transition. Having already participated in the creation of a major enterprise software platform, Juan recognized that large language models, however capable, were not an enterprise architecture. They could raise the intelligence of individual users, but they could not make the organization itself learn, adapt and improve.
That insight became the starting point for TuringDream and Tau.
Under Juan’s leadership, the company has developed the concept of Optimal AI: systems organized around objectives, feedback and measurable outcomes rather than around the generation of content. Tau is its first industrial expression, an Enterprise Optimization System designed to turn the operating experience of a company into intelligence that compounds.
A mathematician by training, Juan combines technical abstraction with a long record of company building. His work in education, including the founding of Dragon American School in 2011, also shaped a central principle of Tau: intelligent systems should not merely replace work or assist people temporarily. They should make individuals and organizations structurally better through use.
He now leads TuringDream’s international expansion and the creation of the Enterprise Optimization System category.

Enrique Dans

Enrique Dans is responsible for articulating the intellectual and strategic meaning of what TuringDream has built.
For more than three decades, his work has examined how technological discontinuities reshape companies, industries and society. That perspective became especially relevant as generative artificial intelligence moved from individual use into the enterprise. The models were astonishingly capable, yet organizations repeatedly struggled to convert that capability into structural improvement.
At TuringDream, Enrique has helped formulate the answer as a new paradigm: Optimal AI. Generative artificial intelligence produces outputs; Optimal AI organizes intelligence around objectives, feedback and measurable outcomes. From that distinction follow the Enterprise Optimization System category, the concept of Compound Intelligence and the wider argument that the enterprise—not the model—should be treated as the unit of intelligence.
His role spans category creation, strategic positioning, public argument, academic dialogue and engagement with the international media, investor and technology ecosystems. He is also exploring the broader implications of systems that do more than automate work: systems capable of helping people and organizations become progressively better through use.
Enrique has been Professor of Innovation at IE Business School since 1990 and is Senior Advisor on Innovation and Digital Transformation at IE University. He holds a PhD in Management, specializing in Information Systems, from UCLA Anderson, an MBA from Instituto de Empresa and a degree in Biology from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, with postdoctoral studies at Harvard Business School.
He is the author of three books on technological change and has published continuously on innovation, digital transformation and artificial intelligence for more than two decades. His work has made him one of the most widely followed technology commentators in the Spanish-speaking world.
